AvCentric's Q/File Link solution makes it easy to quickly and simply integrate most applications needing to exchange Type B information. It provides intelligent handling of Type B data, providing automatic data packaging to insure proper integration with other systems and with VAN's such as ARINC or SITA. In usage: Q/File Link becomes a powerful, yet economic tool to connect unlike systems together to support Type B data exchange. Back-end systems built to produce, handle or process Type B data are not necessarily also built to interface directly with ARINC, SITA or systems such as SABRE. Q/File Link handles the exchange flawlessly making it simple to convert messages to appropriately structured Type B files to be sent to systems requiring those formats. It also provides the reverse functionality for easy two way communication.

 

Many travel and transportation based systems now require communication via IBM's MQSeries messaging infrastructure. Q/File Link is built to fully support this interface, relieving the need for specialized programming skills. Additionally, Q/File Link is pre-certified with ARINC, so you avoid the timely and expensive task of certifying communication, a process that can take months.

 

As an integration solution Q/File Link installs as a gateway between unlike systems, requiring no modification of the existing systems drastically reducing costs and the time needed to integrate. It provides several configurable options to make sure it easily adapts to standard IT practices. Type B data is handled safely and reliably, so systems can easily recover from interruption, and excess data is not maintained as a 'backup' copy relieving system clutter and improving efficiency.
